Cat words and bear words
The pupils practise the conventions of writing cat words and bear words (doubling of single consonant writing). They take an assignment card and think about which side they should choose. They write the word on the correct side and check this using the correction key. To finish, they jump with 1 (single) or 2 (double) legs in a row of hoops to return to the beginning. Who writes the most words on the right side?
